The Citroën C2 1.6 HDi engine (DV6) is a 1.6-litre turbocharged common-rail diesel engine developed by PSA (Peugeot-Citroën). Producing between 90 hp and 110 hp depending on the version, this engine delivers the perfect balance between performance and fuel economy.
Built with advanced high-pressure fuel injection technology, the 1.6 HDi provides strong torque at low RPMs while keeping emissions and fuel consumption very low. In the Citroën C2, it makes the compact hatchback an efficient and reliable city and highway car.
This engine was also widely fitted in other PSA and partner models, including the Citroën C3, C4, Peugeot 206, 307, 407, and Ford Focus (1.6 TDCi variant).
